EVANS EYEING CRAWLEY REUNION
New Rotherham manager Steve Evans is open to the possibility of meeting former club Crawley in the play-offs.
Evans, who swapped the Broadfield Stadium for Don Valley this week, is hoping his new side can make up a four-point gap to the top seven to set up a potential meeting with the Red Devils, who currently sit fourth.
"I'd want Rotherham to win," Evans said. "I know who the more worried who would be if it was Crawley against Rotherham in the play-offs.
"I recruited everyone of those players and we won together and lost together and created a culture that everyone hated us. And it worked.
"I'd be a hypocrite if I said I wouldn't raise a glass of wine to Crawley if they went up to League One.
"It would be an ideal scenario for Crawley to go up automatically and Rotherham to win at Wembley in the play-offs."
